MS5 Series II: War Relocation Authority, 1937-1995 (Bulk 1942-1948)

During World War II, Edward H. Spicer worked for the War Relocation Authority in the Community Analysis Section. Alongside other anthropologists and social scientists, Spicer collected data on Japanese American inhabitants of the internment camps. This series includes correspondence, reports, publications, and other related documents. Digitized documents available online include the majority of materials in the collection, excluding materials published and available elsewhere.
