Joyce Ann Saufkie of Shungopovi works on a coiled plaque by weaving the yucca strips through a hole with the awl in her right hand. Dyed and undyed strands stick out and are waiting to be coiled to create the plaque's pattern. Scanned on a Nikon Supercool Scan 9000 at 4000 DPI. Photoshop was used to clean up dust specks via cloning and reformatted from TIFF to JPEG. Digitizing Technician: Michael William Jenkins.
