Evelyn Seletstewa weaving a wicker fruit basket

Evelyn Seletstewa of Mishongnovi weaves a fruit basket. The photograph shows the inside of the basket with the two bigger branches tied with white cotton. This helps the weaver shape the basket. The qahavi (willow) warps and the commercial wefts can be seen. Scanned on a Nikon Supercool Scan 9000 at 4000 DPI.
