Description: 

Annabelle Nequatewa of Shungopovi sits at her kitchen table and begins to weave a sifter basket. The long ends of the mooho (yucca) plant that she weaves together can be seen sticking out of all four sides. Yucca strands dyed different colors are used to create the pattern. Scanned on a Nikon Supercool Scan 9000 at 4000 DPI. Photoshop was used to clean up dust specks via cloning and reformatted from TIFF to JPEG. Digitizing Technician: Michael William Jenkins.
